Push-Up Bra, Pushback – Chloe Grace Moretz’s Honest Look at Hollywood

Actress Chloe Grace Moretz says being given a push-up bra for a film when she was 16 made her think about getting breast enhancement surgery.

She first spoke about this when she was 21. Now, at 28, she still describes how those small styling choices made her feel insecure. “Little things like that can get in your head,” she explained, making you wonder if you’re unhappy with your body.

Moretz said she grew up looking at Hollywood and comparing herself to people who don’t look real. Because of that, she has turned down roles that felt overly sexualized. She picks parts that truly connect with her and says she can’t play a character who is just “the girlfriend.”

At the time she originally shared these thoughts, she was promoting The Miseducation of Cameron Post, a film about a teen sent to a Christian-run “gay conversion” camp. Back then, she also chose not to comment on the end of her relationship with Brooklyn Beckham.
